vision
Lucunda Vineyards are owned by Esther and Derek Chan, a wine-loving couple from the wine hub of Asia, Hong Kong.
Esther and Derek have enjoyed fine wines for many years. In 2016, they purchased 16 acres of Premium Pinot Noir vineyard in the Russian River Valley Appellation in California.
The vineyard is planted with 100% Pinot Noir grapes of about 20 years of age. For many years, the grapes have been sold to prominent wineries. After they took over the vineyard, Esther and Derek followed their passion and began to make their own exceptional wine: Lucunda.

Place
There are very few places in the world can grow exceptional Pinot Noir. Besides Burgundy in France, the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California, is another.
Lucunda Vineyards are located on Starr Road in Windsor, California, which is the heart of Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. The vineyard is about 16 acres and planted with 100 percent premium Pinot Noir (Pommard Vines plus two Djion clones, 667 and 115 are planted on 101-14 rootstock). The rootstock is around 20 years old and solidly established. Wines produced from the vineyard are complex, sensual, aromatic, velvety feel in the mouth and richness to the finish.
